New Stop & Search recommendations
An expert group has considered responses to consultations around alcohol-related stop and search of young people, and a Code of Practice.
The group’s report concluded that a law to allow stop and search of children for alcohol would not be introduced at this time but kept under review. The report also outlines several aspects to be included in a new Code of Practice.
