Glasgow homeless need more than shelter says health boss

A Glasgow conference on housing has been told efforts need to improve if it is to solve it’s homelessness problem.

A recent report claimed one homeless person a week was dying on the streets of Glasgow.

Susanne Millar, chief officer of Glasgow’s health and social care partnership, said that the issue was not available accommodation but that those with greatest need weren’t being readily identified via support services.
