Scottish Government publishes statement on progressing women’s rights

The UN will soon review the UK’s progress in implementing the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW).

One of the first steps in this process is a government report to the UN Committee.  Whilst this government report is produced by the UK Government on progress across the whole of the UK, the Scottish Government has also produced its own position statement.  This statement outlines actions under each of the 17 CEDAW articles.

You can read the Scottish Government’s position statement here.
