UN Committee review UK’s progress on women’s rights

The UN’s Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women listened to input from many women’s rights organisations in the UK, and the national human rights institutions, as they reviewed the UK’s progress on women’s rights.

Issues such as action to address domestic abuse, abortion in Northern Ireland, trafficking, women’s participation in politics and access to justice were all discussed.
