Event for funders: ‘Small places close to home’ 12th November @10am

“Where, after all, do universal human rights begin? In small places, close to home”- Eleanor Roosevelt

We have been working with the Corra Foundation, Making Rights Real, the Scottish Human Rights Commission and Professor Alan Miller (Co-chair of the National Taskforce for Human Rights) to support a conversation among civil society funders. Across Scotland, funders are keen to learn more about human rights, and consider their role in supporting human rights work.

On 12th November, from 10am-3pm, we will be joined by speakers from the Baring Foundation, Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust, and Social Change Initiative to explore this further. We will discuss the impact that human rights funding can have on communities and rights-holders, and explore a potential roadmap for human rights funding in the future.

If you are involved in civil society funding and would like to know more about the impact you can make, click here to register for our online event.
