On 4th November 2020, the Consortium will host an hour-long seminar (2-3pm) to consider what it means to be an anti-racist organisation. This seminar is a follow-up to a previous event entitled ‘We are a human rights-based organisation: what does that mean?’ held in September.

This upcoming seminar will discuss what it means to be truly anti-racist, and to embed anti-racism in organisational structures, policy and practice. We are delighted to be joined by the following speakers, who will lend their expertise and experience to the discussion:

  • Talat Yaqoob- Consultant, Campaigner and Writer
  • Carol Young- Senior Policy Officer, Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights
  • Lena Bheeroo- Committee Member, Charity So White
