ERCS Produces New Briefings on Environmental Rights

The Environmental Rights Centre for Scotland (ERCS) has produced 3 briefings, commissioned by the Consortium, which explore the relationship between environmental rights and other key rights. They examine the right to food, disabled people’s rights and the right to health. The first two briefings were written with input from Nourish Scotland and Inclusion Scotland respectively.

Each briefing makes the case that the incorporation of the right to a healthy environment into Scots law would help to advance other rights.

  • ERCS and Inclusion Scotland also held a joint workshop on environmental rights and disabled people’s rights, the recording of which is also available on our website here.
