Sharing experience of a human rights-based approach: Session 2, 15th August @12pm

Join the Consortium for the second in our ‘Sharing Experience’ series of events, which will give space for civil society to learn from each other around taking a human rights-based approach. On Monday 15th August, from 12-1pm, we will be welcoming the following speakers to share their experiences of taking a human rights-based approach to participation and policy-making:

  • Isla McIntosh, Scottish Human Rights Commission
  • Amy Woodhouse, Children in Scotland

These civil society leaders, who have been using human rights-based approaches to participation and policy-making in their own work, will be sharing what worked well and what challenges they faced, so that you can strengthen your own work around human rights.

This event will be taking place both online and in-person, at the Glasgow Quaker Meeting House, 38 Elmbank Crescent, Glasgow. The in-person event will be followed by a networking lunch from 1-2pm

We want this event to be accessible to all. If you have any particular accessibility requirements, please let us know as soon as you can so that we can make any arrangements required.
