An Introduction to the Human Rights (Incorporation) Scotland Bill, 20th March @10:30am

In March 2021, the Scottish Government made a commitment to introduce a new Human Rights Bill for Scotland. This Bill would incorporate 4 major United Nations human rights treaties directly into Scots law, making it much easier for ordinary people to name and claim their basic rights.

2 years on from that announcement, we’re still waiting for the consultation on this Bill.

Find out about the progress which has been made so far, and what still needs to be done to make the Bill a reality.
