In this episode of our #HumanRights2020s podcast, we are joined by Naomi McAuliffe, Scotland Programme Director for Amnesty International. Listen as she discusses Amnesty International’s perspective on the impact of Covid-19 on human rights, including their main policy asks as lockdown continues to ease across the country.
Naomi says: “we’re going to have to learn from our mistakes and what went well… There’s already been a lot of work around incorporating economic, social and cultural rights into Scots law, and although that seems abstract, Covid provides a very good example of why that’s so necessary.”
