Good Food Nation Proposals for Legislation: Response

The Consortium has responded to the Scottish Government’s call for views on their proposed ‘Good Food Nation’ legislation. The proposed legislation would seek to improve access to healthy food and improve the sustainability of Scotland’s food industry.

Drawing on the expertise of our members, we responded with support for the principles upon which the Good Food Nation proposals are based. However, we also urged the Government to consider the incorporation of the right to food as a key aspect of the legislation.
