It covered the key UK Government issues which will impact human rights over the coming year, including the Bill of Rights, new law on data, the Brexit Freedoms Bill and more.

 

The webinar was chaired by Mhairi Snowden, Director of the Human Rights Consortium Scotland. The speakers were Catherine Barnard, the Deputy Director of UK in a Changing Europe, Charlie Whelton, Policy and Campaigns Officer at Liberty, Kevin Hanratty, the Director of the Human Rights Consortium in Northern Ireland, Charles Whitmore, a Research Associate at Cardiff University School of Law and Politics, and Rosalind Stevens, Project Manager at the Civil Society Alliance.
