National ID Card?

The Open Rights Group Scotland have launched a campaign to ‘Stop ID Cards 2.0 in Scotland’.  The Group believes that “The Scottish Government has plans to create a national identity database and we have to stop it.  The new database would put Scottish citizens into a system like the scrapped and unpopular UK ID cards scheme — by the backdoor.”  For more information go to https://scotland.openrightsgroup.org/campaigns/stop-scottish-id-database
