New statement on Privatising Public Services

The European Network of National Human Rights Institutions, which includes the Scottish Human Rights Commission, has published a statement on issues around business and human rights.  The statement highlights the need to consider human rights implications of any privatisation of public services and that countries need to to step up efforts to establish a practice of human rights impact assessment in privatisation and public procurement processes.
